Leisure centre customers thanked for their support

We are thanking customers to Carnegie Leisure Centre for their support as works continue to the facility’s changing area.

Working in partnership with Fife Council, we are striving to minimise disruption to customers as essential remedial works are carried out to the facility’s changing village which means male and female private, wetside showers are closed for a six-week period.

We are announcing a delay to recent proposals to deliver a new-look gym and fitness studios for Levenmouth Swimming Pool and Sports Centre so that wider refurbishment works can be incorporated.

Working with Fife Council, we are set to transform the centre’s gym and studio spaces to give customers much-improved, dedicated spaces to make getting active even more enjoyable.

We are launching a dementia initiative which will see us deliver dementia-friendly health classes in our leisure centres.

We have already been recognised for our efforts to make one of our leisure facilities accessible for people living with dementia and recently received official dementia-friendly status for Michael Woods Sports and Leisure Centre, Glenrothes.

As part of our £1.1 million investment to refit 11 of our gyms across the region, Cupar Leisure Centre is the welcoming customers to its new-look gym. Now, locals have a wide range of high-quality facilities and a host of affordable opportunities to get active.
