Sports centre marks 30 years of getting active and feeling great

We are celebrating the 30th anniversary of one of our most popular leisure centres with local customers.
We’ll be hosting celebration activities at Levenmouth Swimming Pool and Sports Centre between Friday, March 13th and Sunday, March 15th and we’re welcoming people to celebrate 30 years of keeping the local community active and feeling great.

On Friday 13th, there will be a ‘Beat the Lifeguard’ inflatable session with prizes for the winners during the usual Friday Kidz Fun Session for juniors, aged 8 to 12-years-old, from 7.00pm to 8.30pm.

On Sunday 15th, there will be more inflatable fun for the whole family with obstacle courses and slides set up in the sports hall, followed by pool fun with flume and inflatable obstacle course with geysers and water cannons.
For fitness class lovers, there will be a range of taster sessions on offer with a £2 donation to our Health and Wellbeing Fund which supports those in the local community living with long-term health conditions. In addition, our Leisure Active team will be on site with information on our popular,  low-cost membership scheme with a raffle giving the chance to win prizes such as a free activity pass and monthly memberships.

Grant Stevenson, area leisure manager for Fife Sports and Leisure Trust, said: “Our staff are really looking forward to welcoming local customers along to the celebrations. Levenmouth is a well-loved local facility and we’d love to see regular, as well as new customers, come along and join in the fun.“
