We are thrilled to share that Fife Sports and Leisure Trust has been named the Scottish Water Learn to Swim Provider of the Year! This incredible achievement reflects our unwavering commitment to delivering high quality swimming lessons in our community. 

A staggering 300 million tonnes of plastic waste is produced globally each year - nearly equivalent to the weight of the entire human population. On top of this, approximately 99% of single-use cups end up in landfills, and experts predict that by 2050, there will be more plastic in our oceans than fish.

In partnership with Fife Council and Network Rail, Fife Sports and Leisure Trust has announced the temporary closure of Levenmouth Swimming Pool and Sports Centre's car park. The closure will be in effect from the 23rd of October 2023 to Spring 2024 to accommodate the construction of the new Leven Station as part of the transformative Levenmouth Rail Link project.

Fife Sports and Leisure Trust is proud to present an exciting October Holiday Programme to keep children active during the school break. Running from Saturday the 7th of October to Sunday the 22nd of October, this programme offers a range of budget-friendly activities that promise to keep kids engaged and having fun. 

Fife Sports and Leisure Trust, in partnership with Scottish Gymnastics, is thrilled to introduce "Rise Gymnastics", an exciting gymnastics programme developed by British Gymnastics. The programme will be launched across its leisure centres on the 23rd of October.

On Saturday, the 22nd of July 2023, Fife Sports and Leisure Trust celebrated the 10th Birthday of Michael Woods Sports and Leisure Centre. This milestone marked a decade of promoting health, wellness, and community engagement. The event was filled with unforgettable moments that brought smiles to everyone in attendance.

Pickleball is a fast-paced and exciting racquet sport that combines elements of tennis, badminton, squash, and table tennis. It can be played by singles or in pairs, indoors or outside. Around 7,000 people currently play in the UK and organisers are even trying to get it included in the 2028 Olympics as a demonstration sport!

Fife Sports and Leisure Trust, in collaboration with Fife Council, is delighted to announce upcoming works to refresh the exterior of Kirkcaldy Leisure Centre. The project is scheduled to commence on Monday, 24th July 2023, and is expected to span up to 12 weeks, weather permitting.

Starting from the 21st of August 2023, Fife Sports and Leisure Trust will reinstate the opening hours at Dalgety Bay Sports and Leisure Centre, East Sands Leisure Centre, Cupar Sports Centre, and Cowdenbeath Leisure Centre. This development is made possible through funding from Fife Council to support individuals in their journey towards an active lifestyle.
